Become a client

How to become a client of Micronesian Legal Services Corporation.

Contact your local MLSC office or fill up our online intake here. Each year, MLSC sets priorities for the cases we will handle, but not every office will handle every type of case within our priority areas. The best way to find out if MLSC can assist you is to contact the office and ask. You can also complete the online request at the bottom of this page. We will respond as soon as possible.

Our priority setting process each year helps MLSC and each of our offices responds to the most important issues. But because we have limited resources, we can’t accept every case.

Who qualifies for MLSC services?

MLSC can represent individuals and groups whose income and assets are below established guidelines. When you contact our office, we will ask you questions about your income and assets to determine if you are eligible for our services. The financial eligibility guidelines we use to change each year.

What should you bring to the MLSC office?

You should bring all documents you have that are related to your case with you.

What can you expect as an MLSC client?

MLSC will fully provide all services listed in the agreement in a professional, competent and timely manner.

As a client of MLSC, the information and documents you provide to MLSC in confidence are protected by the attorney-client privilege. MLSC does not reveal confidential, privileged information to anyone without your consent.
